over 70 Trophies and over £3000 Prize Money

Sneaton and Hawsker Show has been running in some form for over 100 years. Originally held in the Sneaton and Hawsker area before re-siting to Whitby where it is now held annually at the working Farm of Sneaton Castle.

Many classes are held including: Light and Heavy Horses, Showjumping, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Terriers, Ferrets, Vintage Machinery, Produce, Handicrafts and many Childrens classes. Around 70 trophies are awarded and the prize money is amongst the highest in the area.

Other attractions include Tradestands, Simply Brass Band, The Staintondale Hounds, Displays of Falconry, Gundogs and Huskies, Derek the clown,
Whitby Fire brigade will give a demonstration.
Try your hand at Archery and get as close as you dare to our visiting
reptiles and spiders.

Also many side shows and stalls, bar facilities and catering.

We try to cater for varied interests but welcome any feedback on any aspect of the show.
